In the 1930s, a pharmacy was opened in Vinaròs, in the Plaza Parroquial, in front of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and next to the Town Hall.

In the 70s, the “Church Pharmacy” came under the ownership of José María Guimerá Monfort , a pharmacist specializing in hospital pharmacy, with the experience of the Morella pharmacy where he was born and trained in clinical and bromatological formulation and analysis.

In those years the journey began with Lourdes Bellot as the only assistant and in the following two years a profound reform was carried out, advancing the pharmacy to European concepts of equipment and functionality.

In June 2004 the Pharmacy achieved Level 5 accreditation from the Department of Health for the production of medicines for third parties and Hospital Pharmacy Services.

Currently the pharmacy is under the direction of the 3rd generation of pharmacists with the last names Guimerá, Javier and Laura . With a staff of 3 pharmacists, 5 assistants and an administrator, it offers professional, safe and efficient dispensing; adequate pharmaceutical advice both in the areas of medication and in those of hygiene and prevention.
